Moodle Plays Home. MoodleMoot Australia 2017 Date Confirmed

The clock has started counting down on the home page of MoodleMoot Australia 2017, the Moot that started it all.

During the last week of September, educators, administrators, developers, and innovators will get together in Sydney to exchange ideas, solutions, and insight—and probably a few jokes and drinks, too.

Australia is Moodle’s birthplace, making Moots down under particularly special events. And on top of that, a large part of the Moodle HQ team will be in attendance, roaming the halls, up on stage, and even hosting workshops. As is tradition, the event will be highlighted with the presence of Martin Dougiamas, Moodle Founder & CEO.

It will all start with another critical component of the MoodleMoot Australia mythos: the pre-conference workshops. Preliminary session topics include:

  • Assessment Masterclass
  • Online Course Design Masterclass
  • Mobile Learning Masterclass
  • Learning Analytics Workshop
  • Introduction to Moodle
  • Moodle Dev Jam

MoodleMoot Australia 2017 (or #MootAU17) will be held in Sydney from Tuesday, September 26th to Thursday, September 28th at the Sheraton on the Park, just two kilometers away from the iconic Sydney Opera House.

Program information is TBD, as is registration information and fees.

But, you can still get started on your application to be a speaker! You can read up on presentation guidelines here.
