  1. Thank you for this list. At our institution we are using several of these plugins. The checklist has become a valuable to for our students.

    I am a little concerned about Poodll. We were preparing to use Poodll much more this coming semester, but I was a little shocked to read that there will now be a cost to use Poodll. I will spend sometime researching what impact this will have on our ability to use this plugin.

    Do you know of another plugin similar to Poodll? We really need the audio and video recording from within a quiz or assignment features.

    • I am afraid I do not. I don’t know the Poodll developer personally, but I believe he is doing this full-time. So on the plus side you do know that you will be getting really good plugins that will be supported through this and future Moodle versions.

      I am doing a risk analysis for a client upgrading from 2.7 to 3.1. Some of the plugins they have used are no longer supported. If you have used them in many courses, that could be a real problem.
